Markets were mixed last week with small/mid caps as the clear outperformer (need to pay attention to where the money is flowing):

• Dow: -0.23%

• Nasdaq: -0.42%

• S&P: -0.10%

• Russell: +0.58%

With regards to the sectors last week, here’s how they did:

We’re starting to get into the heart of earnings season so be mindful of when your stocks are reporting and be careful about holding into earnings if you don’t have the 3s: confidence, conviction and cushion.
