Equity futures not looking great this morning…
Yields down slightly this morning, the 10Y is down 16 bps from the highs a couple days ago but needs to fall much further…
Indexes did well yesterday with growth outperforming, ARKK closed 2.5% off the lows…
New highs & new lows — market breadth is still horrible…
Momentum & trends — every index and sector still looks bad, there’s no strength anywhere yet…
$TNX — the 10Y yield finally pulling back, this could continue if the jobs report tomorrow comes in lighter than expected..
$VIX — still above the 200d sma but closed 11% off the highs yesterday…
$CL1! (WTI Crude) — big 13% pullback in oil over the past 10 days
$SPX — it’s possible we test the 200d sma and/or 4200 today before we get to the BLS payroll report tomorrow
